Our Commitment to Quality

At ATLA, we manufacture our sinks to the highest standards of durability and craftsmanship. We utilize premium 16-gauge and 18-gauge SUS304 stainless steel to ensure every product withstands the rigors of daily use. We are confident in our quality, which is why we offer the following warranty coverage to the original purchaser.

1. Warranty Coverage Overview

This warranty applies to ATLA kitchen and bathroom sinks installed in the United States and Canada.

  • Residential Kitchen Sinks: Limited Lifetime Warranty. We warrant that the sink will be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the product, as long as the original purchaser owns the home where it was installed.
  • Commercial Sinks: 5-Year Limited Warranty. Sinks installed in industrial, rental, or commercial settings are covered for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase.
  • Accessories: 1-Year Limited Warranty. Accessories such as bottom grids, strainers, colanders, and cutting boards are warranted to be free from defects for one (1) year.

2. What Is Covered

Under normal use and proper maintenance, this warranty covers:

  • Structural Integrity: Cracks, fractures, or welding failures caused by manufacturing defects.
  • Material Defects: Significant rust-through or corrosion of the stainless steel body (excluding surface rust caused by external factors).
  • Thermal Shock: Resistance to normal household temperature changes.

3. What Is NOT Covered (Exclusions)

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or improper installation. The following conditions are specifically excluded:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Scratches, scuffs, and dulling of the finish over time are normal for stainless steel and are not considered manufacturing defects.
  • Improper Installation: Damage caused by installing the sink incorrectly or contrary to our provided templates/instructions.
  • Chemical Damage: Stains or corrosion caused by aggressive chemicals such as bleach, chlorides, drain cleaners, or photographic solutions left on the sink surface.
  • Hard Water Deposits: Water spots or mineral buildup (limescale) caused by local water quality.
  • Modifications: Any drilling of extra holes or physical alterations to the sink structure.
  • Labor & Shipping Costs: This warranty covers the replacement of the product only. We are not responsible for labor costs to remove or reinstall the sink, nor for any damage to surrounding countertops or cabinetry.

4. Care & Maintenance Instructions

To keep your sink in pristine condition and maintain warranty eligibility, please follow these guidelines:

  • Daily Cleaning: Rinse the sink thoroughly after each use and wipe dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
  • Avoid Steel Wool: Never use steel wool or wire brushes, as they will scratch the surface and leave iron particles that can rust. Use a non-abrasive nylon sponge instead.
  • No Standing Water: Do not leave wet sponges, towels, or rubber mats in the sink for extended periods, as trapped water can lead to discoloration.
  • Scratch Repair: Minor scratches can be blended in using a fine Scotch-Brite™ pad, scrubbing with the grain of the steel, not across it.

5. Limitation of Liability

ATLA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the product. Our liability is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the defective product.

6. How to File a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please contact our support team to initiate a claim.

Please adhere to the following steps:

  1. Prepare your original Proof of Purchase (Invoice or Order ID).
  2. Take clear, high-resolution photos or videos of the defect.
  3. Describe the issue in detail, including when it was first noticed.
  4. Email all information to: postmaster@atlakitchen.com

We will review your claim within 2-3 business days. If a replacement is approved, we will ship the new product or parts free of charge (shipping fees may apply for international orders).
